RRB JE भर्ती में चयन प्रक्रिया मुख्य रूप से CBT 1, CBT 2, Document Verification (DV) और Medical Examination पर आधारित होती है। CBT 1 केवल Screening Nature का होता है जबकि Final Merit CBT 2 के अंकों के आधार पर तैयार की जाती है।

10वीं स्तर का Physics एवं Chemistry Syllabus।

Computer Architecture, Input-Output Devices, Operating System, MS Office, Internet, Email, Networking, Computer Virus आदि।
Environment & Pollution Control
Air Pollution, Water Pollution, Global Warming, Ozone Layer, Waste Management, Environmental Protection आदि।
Technical Ability
इस सेक्शन में प्रश्न उम्मीदवार की Engineering Discipline के अनुसार पूछे जाएंगे।

Technical Section CBT 2 का सबसे महत्वपूर्ण भाग है और कुल 100 प्रश्न इसी सेक्शन से पूछे जाएंगे।
Document Verification (DV)
CBT 2 में प्राप्त अंकों के आधार पर उम्मीदवारों को Document Verification के लिए बुलाया जाएगा। उम्मीदवारों को सभी Original Certificates प्रस्तुत करने होंगे।
Medical Examination
Document Verification के बाद उम्मीदवारों का Railway Medical Test किया जाएगा। Medical Fitness प्राप्त करने वाले उम्मीदवारों को अंतिम नियुक्ति के लिए चयनित किया जाएगा।
